SHOWWRANGLER — HOST, STATION, TABLET + COMPANION 1. If updating, save your show and quit the running Host before replacing it. Download and unzip ShowWrangler for Mac. Move ShowWrangler.app to Applications and open it. Create a test show or use a copy of your show file. 2. Keep Host Server and Enable Remote Connection turned on in the Host's connection settings. Keep the Mac awake while using connected devices. 3. On the Mac, open User Roles to check or configure each role and PIN. Use the PIN supplied by your own Host administrator. 4. Station is a separate Mac crew workstation. Use it at an A2, show caller, playback or stage manager position, and sign in to the Mac Host with the role configured for that position. It follows the same shared show and sends supported crew actions back to the Host. 5. Install ShowWrangler Tablet or ShowWrangler Companion using the TestFlight invitation supplied by your beta organizer once Apple approves the build. 6. Put the devices on the same local network as the Mac. Allow Local Network access. Select the Mac Host, choose a role and enter its PIN. 7. On iPhone, tap Hide Keyboard or Enter to close the PIN number pad. If the Host does not appear, check both Host connection switches, Local Network permission, and whether your Wi-Fi blocks communication between devices. The Host's connection settings show the address for a manual connection. Test pairing, role views, live cue/talent updates, background/resume, reconnects, and unsent work protection. Check Tablet in portrait and landscape. Tablet migration note: The original App Store Tablet uses a different identity from the current development Tablet. Local settings, login and unsent drafts do not automatically transfer. Keep the development app until its work is secured. For feedback, record the app/version/device/role and steps to reproduce. Do not include role PINs or private show files unless you intend to share them. Save copies of your show files and rehearse before using beta builds live.
